Hunter Commercial Heater Distributors and OEM'sFor the past 50 years, Hunter has been a manufacturer of fuel fired and hot water heaters for the construction and trucking industries. They have been used for a variety of purposes, primarily cab and cargo heating. We are especially proud of our propane series of heaters, which are unique in the industry. Effective June 25th, 2004, Hunter will no longer accept orders for the commercial heater products. We will make one last production run of heaters based on orders on hand June 25th, 2004. These will be shipped as they are completed and they will all be shipped for the fall 2004 heating season. A list of the heaters to be built is attached. The pricing shown will be applied to those orders. Service parts may be ordered at the same time.Future service parts orders and service will be handled as outlined in the next two paragraphs. Your order this year should indicate if you wish to provide heater parts and service in the future as described below. Service parts support is pledged for at least the next 5 years. We will take orders for the commercial heater parts once a year, in the spring, for shipment in late summer or early fall. Orders will only be accepted from those customers ordering heaters for the fall 2004 heating season. We will attempt to keep prices in line with inflation, but cannot guarantee future prices. Parts declared obsolete by Hunter or Hunter's suppliers might not have replacement parts designed or sourced. All heater service and repair will be done locally by distributors or OEM dealers. Hunter will no longer accept heaters for repair. All warranty work will be referred to distributors. We will reimburse all reasonable, on-bench, repair costs for heaters repaired under warranty by current distributors and all OEM dealers. All heaters shipped to Hunter will be returned as received. Hunter will continue in our core business of providing heaters and air filtration products for our Armed Forces. These are sold to our military customers and manufacturers and are not compatible with commercial applications. Your interest in our heaters is appreciated; this decision was not easy.
